The fear, the overwhelm, the desperate need to find answers. I’ve been there.
At 40, I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. Genetic tests showed a high likelihood of recurrence and metastasis within 17 months, and my doctors urged chemotherapy. I declined, and as an international journalist at the time, I approached my diagnosis as the most important investigative assignment of my life. I set out to understand cancer, why it develops, and what actually creates the conditions for healing. By addressing the biological, emotional and spiritual roots of my illness, I changed the epigenetic expression of my genes. Two years later, my oncologist pronounced me cured. Seventeen years later, I remain cancer-free. That experience changed the course of my life.
Over the past 17 years, I have devoted myself to mastering the factors that influence healing, integrating knowledge from epigenetics, therapeutic nutrition, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, naturopathy, detoxification, nervous system regulation, and spiritual practice into a single, personalized methodology. My work bridges science and spirituality through the lens of epigenetics, recognizing that healing is never the result of one intervention, but an ecosystem, engineered to work in harmony.
The protocols I built to save my own life became the foundation of Soupelina. What began as a therapeutic soup company rooted in food as medicine led to my bestselling book, Soupelina’s Soup Cleanse: Plant Based Soups + Broths to Heal Your Body, Calm Your Mind & Transform Your Life, published by DaCapo Lifelong Books and translated into four languages.
Today, I work privately with a select number of individuals following a cancer, creating a bespoke Healing Journey, built entirely around you, your biology, your history, your life, guiding you through nutrition, detoxification, emotional healing, nervous system regulation, environmental optimization, and the daily practices that create an internal environment for healing.
I believe cancer is not a random event, but a signal of deeper imbalance. My role is not simply to help you navigate a diagnosis; it is to help you understand the exact conditions that allowed it to take root and to build, alongside you, the conditions for it to reverse.
